Blending Blocks..

Who loves the Tim Holtz ink and blending blocks! I do..love the colours
and update with every new colour that comes out. But I have only one
blending block. Constantly changing the ink foam to whatever
colours I am using, and riping the Velcro from using it so much.

So I thought I would try and make my own..Now my hubby has a big shed full of
everything I needed. I found a length of wood that I got him to cut up for me.
I'm sure your local hardware shop would do the same for you. Rounded off the
edges so they were smooth.

Double sided tape and velcro put on top with a hot glue gun, made sure that it was
put in place.

And now have a blending block for each ink pads. I store mine in a plastic fish tackle box. Each block
has its own department, and they fit in there perfectly.

I know that this has been done before, but this was my first time to try and was
surprised by how quick and easy it was to make. Not to mention Ive made about 30
of these blocks for around the price if i had brought one.!

until next time..happy scrapping!
